Chinese seals are typically made of stone used with a special kind of red resin ink called cinnabar paste（朱砂）. The word 印 ("yìn" in Mandarin) specifically refers to the imprint created by the seal.
Carving Style
- Relief 紅文（陽文） – red imprint of characters
- Hollow Relief 白文（陰文） – inverse of relief, imprint of characters in white
- Hybrid 紅白文 – contains both styles, one for each character or each half of the characters. Available for 2 characters or more.
